Berry perfection

Vaccinium vitis-idaea sounds as if it should be good for you, and this is the time of year when Finns go mad for berries. This Lingonberry Parfait certainly perfected, or completed, my evening, preceded as it was by reindeer paté and fried char with river crayfish and spinach risotto. Before that some very good dark smoky lager brewed at the Teerenpeli bar in Olavinkatu. I like Northern food. Not as much as southern food, but still...
