Papa stopped by...

We don't see the bluebirds as much now since they are done  nesting for the year. We had hoped for a fourth brood, but it didn't happen. They stop by a couple of times a day now just to grab a few worms, and I always have them out.

Yesterday we got soooo excited as the parents and four babies from across all three broods from this year stopped by for a snack. A first for us!! They know the worms are out when I tap the bowl on the deck rail.

It is amazing how much joy they have brought us throughout the year, nesting, and going about their lives.
