A visit to Roath Park
Treulion ni brynhawn hyfryd gyda'n ffrind ni Arja sy'n dod o Ffindir. Roedd hi yna ar encil Bwdist ac ymwelodd hi â ni cyn aeth hi'n ôl i Helsinki. Roedd e'n gyfle da i ymweld â Parc-y-Rhath ac yn dangos iddi hi un o'n lle ffefryn ni. Cerddon ni o gwmpas y llyn a mwynheuon ni edrych ar yr elyrch, hwyaid a gwyddau. Yna aethon ni i'r ardd rhosod, gyda llawer o flodau prydferth. Yn olaf, ymwelon ni â'r tŷ gwydr. Roedd e'n boeth iawn yna ac roedd llawer o flodau diddorol. Hoffon ni'r blodau mawr oren gyda'r enw "Utgyrn Angylion". Ar ddiwedd y dydd aeth Arja yn ôl i'w gwesty achos roedd hedfan gyda hi yn y bore. Roeddwn ni hapus ei bod hi wedi gweld tipyn bach o Gaerdydd.
We spent a lovely afternoon with our friend Arja who comes from Finland. She was on a Buddhist retreat and she visited us before she went back to Helsinki. It was a good opportunity to visit Roath Park and show her one of our favourite places. We walked around the lake and we enjoyed looking at swans, ducks and geese. Then we went into the rose garden, with many beautiful flowers. Finally, we went to the greenhouse. It was very hot and there were lots of interesting flowers. We liked the big orange flowers with the name "Angels Trumpets". At the end of the day Arja went back to her hotel because she was flying in the morning. We were happy that she had seen a bit of Cardiff.
