Saughton Park
Lovely to see the sun today, and I had a quick visit to the park. The Council is currently part of a project called The Edinburgh Living Landscape, which involves planting meadows, leaving grassland to grow, and creating areas that encourage nature (and people) to hang out in the greenspaces around the city.
One of my favourite things in the whole world is a meadow of beautiful colourful flowers, so I'm very much on board with this project. Make a note of this, as it may be the only positive thing I say about the Council in my entire lifetime.
Anyway...I spotted this little meadow patch in the park and stood and stared at it until I could eventually drag myself away.
