Manhattan Beach Open - Day 2

Once again we are back in Manhattan Beach for the AVP tournament. Not as many games today because the first day matches eliminate a large number of teams. Still quite a few SOB professionals playing so I was bouncing around trying to photograph their matches when I noticed this perfect background - nice and dark with the awesome MBO logo big and bold. I tried different angles, but it was tough to find a good spot as there were so many people crowded around these feature courts. I finally captured Summer Ross jump serving while her partner, Lane Carico, gets set to play defense. Neither of these players are SOB pros, but then they are both very young so there is plenty of time for them to be invited on a future trip.
