Ogwen valley from Tryfan

Today I headed up Tryfan, an old favourite of mine, this time with girlfriend Jo in toe. Jo hasn't done much hillwalking or scrambling before so this was a new experience for her. She did really well considering it turned out to not be her cup of tea at all. I think I underestimated what it feels like when not familiar with this type of terrain; it was a little scary for her, but she soldiered on and made it to the top all the same. Good effort Jo! 

Always a nice view from Tryfan, but was especially nice today with the light coming through the clouds and lighting up the valley.
