Hosta

I had just got the camera into the right position to photograph this host, and was about to tidy up the background, when this insect came and landed on the flower. Obviously the priority was to get the shot before the insect flew off, which is why the background isn’t as well arranged as I would have liked. The inset stayed for quite a while, and pose nicely for me. This hosta seems to be less attractive to snails and slugs than my other ones, and it has more attractive flowers, though the leaves aren’t as interesting.
