ABRSM Theory Examination (B) 2012

Today, I had to coordinate 153 candidates siting their grade 1-8 ABRSM Theory of Music Examinations. I was OCD organised so the morning passed pretty fast. With few minor hiccups...

I get so much from seeing kids grow through music... There was one small boy came in last year... He was probably about 7 but very very small... We held the exam at Northfield Academy in Aberdeen which is a senior school... With senior size seats... This tiny little boy was too small for the desk and the chair... BLESS. His dad had to go to the car to get his bumper seat out... This year he came back to sit his Grade 2 exam and was determined to sit in a big persons seat No matter how fussy his father was trying to be with no help!! His legs still dangled but he managed!! :-) very cute...

My brother, his new girlfriend Laura and I have already sunk a bottle of white wine... I think this girlfriend of his is a keeper!! She likes to drink. Sold. So it will be off to Scott's Corner soon to absolutly whip my brother at pool because he is crap... dance around and laugh In his face while drowning myself in wine, guiness and gin!!! have a civilised drink and return at a civilised hour as I have a 2pm - 10pm rehearsal tomorrow....
