Sleeping solidarity

They genuinely seem to like sleeping beside each other. They're in their cot bed now tied onto our bed and I commissioned the making of a custom cot wedge so they can sleep sideways. It's an impressevly steep angle they sleep at, I've had to make them little blanket nests so they won't roll, but they still manage to wriggle so they're heads touch.

Ivy kept her big girl pants dry all day. I got her a stepladder for the toilet and Euan didn't think she'd manage to go herself, but when I was in the shower ivy took her own pants odd, scaled the ladder and relieved herself. Pretty impressive for someone whose not even 2! Got her a book called 'everybody poos' and now she's very interested in 'whomin poo'

Made pizza for dinner and John came to join us. Smoked salmon, ricotta, tomato and rocket on one, leftover spiced chicken and pear on the other. I do like an unusual pizza. Ivy helped spoon the flour into the mix.

At one point in the evening all three girls were in baby wraps at the same time.
