Mountain racing

In contrast to running 5,000m in 41 C, today Louise and Oscar ran 25K with a 1,700m climb in 10C and rain. The 600 runners  ran from Morzine to Avoriaz and snow was forecast at 2600M luckily the race only reached 2,100M. Louise still smiling when she finished 4th lady in a strong field of 90 women and Oscar 103rd in the men. 
Tom and Sam's face say it all - cold. We had a hot lunch together in a cosy restaurant before driving home in the rain.
