Lunch

I watched this bee feeding on this delphinium ( a second flush of flowers this year) for a while, but it really wanted to feed on the other side of the flower spike :-(
It looks like it's been (no pun intended) busy - the pollen pouches look pretty full.
Since I'll be away for a week I looked for (and found) an echinops flower that's further in than the one I shot on the 13th - in this case with another bee enjoying the nectar of life - see extras!
Is nectar the bee equivalent of wine?
