High As A Kite

Fifteen of us got together today, at my brother's in Marlow, to celebrate the birthday of my nephew and niece.. It's a year since the family were all together and it felt good to catch up. 

I took over a cooked chicken, as my brother has a purpose built platform on his garden hedge for feeding the kites. I realise that some people disapprove but they are magnificent birds and I never tire of seeing them swoop down for the food. 

They did their usual disappearing trick, the moment I got my camera out! This one was a considerable way up, so I've had to crop it quite a bit.
