Life is beautiful

....even when the weather is not!

We can't legitimately complain too much this year, as we've had a much better than average (non-existent) German summer; the term "German summer" being an oxymoron.

But this weekend was cold, blustery, and very wet. Which is why the Kettwig "gourmet mile" food & music festival was fairly deserted this afternoon. Yet die-hard Lulu fans were not to be deterred.

And thus I had a lovely mid-day break from mundane chores, when I joined a group of dear friends huddled under a large umbrella - warmed with a few bottles of wine- to hear & cheer for our dear friend - the talented Mis Behavin, Lulu :)

So, as the sign says, "Das Leben ist schön."
