Basel Tattoo

I spent my last day in Basel finishing off packing, buying a Swiss watch and a LOT of chocolate! In the evening after hearing bagpipes from across the river all week I went to the Tattoo. It was a great show with bands from all over the world. The Swiss Top Secret drum corps are performing at the Edinburgh tattoo this year so I got a preview of their spectacular drumming show.

Afterwards I wandered along the river for the last time and got a little bit emotional taking the ferry over to my side of the bank one more time. I've fallen in love with this Swiss city and I'm really going to miss it.
