Aerotow

A nil wind day with (initially) a great looking forecast so it was off to aerotow at Sutton Meadows.  Sadly the clouds were too good, hit an inversion layer, and rapidly spread out within what seemed like minutes.

So, not to be today.  A very sinky first flight and the second barely redeemable in a weak thermal so poor the instrument failed to recognise it as one.  And that was one of the best flights of the day!

A good turnout though, and new boy N had the biggest smile from 4,000' as he timed it at the end of the day for evening glass-off.  Everywhere was going up, unlike earlier in the day where everywhere was going down!

Big thanks to PH for driving all the way over to come and tug us.
