No longer a goldfish bowl!

This time last year someone crashed their car through our 10 foot tall hedge. No one was injured but we lost all of our privacy and since then it's been like living in a goldfish bowl at times. Not helped by the laying of a new gas mains on the main road which backed up the traffic and gave us plenty of peering visitors!
A painful wrangle with the council about what we could do to regain our privacy. We have a solution. Replanted hedge, which has now taken as first lot didn't, and a fence on the inside behind the hedge. My OH has been very busy building it and enjoying every minute of it.
Today we ate in the garden and I fell asleep sunbathing, all away from passing cars, dog walkers and at times just plain nosey people. Was fabby!
