Not a hanging basket...

...but part of the fab display planted by Leighton-Linslade Town Council.  This is the bridge over the River Ouzel and is also one of the busiest roads in Leighton Buzzard, traffic streaming by all day long.  However, the town council have erected troughs along the bridge railings and planted them with all these pretty flowers which make walking along this road so much more pleasant.  I decided to walk to Tesco thinking it was healthier than driving (although not so sure with all the traffic fumes!) but the flowers were definitely worth a blip!

Well done to the town council, your efforts are appreciated!
