Holly Tree "Monster"

We had a holly bush which had sneakily become a tree while no-one was looking (well, that's how it seemed). It was crowding out other bushes, so it had to come down. I don't have a chainsaw so it was quite hard work but in the end it succumbed.

It's now lying half on the border from which it came, and half on the lawn. It's too heavy to pick up so I'll have to cut it into pieces but I'm waiting for the blister on my hand to heal! I've cut the upper branches off it as you can see in the photo.

Viewed from a low angle I thought it looked a bit like an evil monster - especially in monchrome :)
