Goodbye party

Today my kids in Sunday school surprised me with a party. I will be leaving the church I have been a part of for the past fifteen years at the end of August. I have been directing their children's ministry program for the past three years. I have loved each and every moment spent with them. It's definitely a bitter sweet time. But it is time to close this chapter and end this book and begin a new book. I'm still not sure what the next title will be :). I am in a waiting space at this time listening for Gods direction. I will wait, I will listen, for as long as it takes.

I love this photo because we are cheering (with lemonade and raspberry lemonade with really cool straws) to Gods will to be a part of my leaving and what's next for me as well for them. I love them and will miss them dearly, which is what was written on the cake today :) . How sweet of them.
