My Christening day

Today was a very special day. It was my christening day. We all went along to Currie Kirk, where Dr Easter Smart welcomed me to the family.

My Godparents are Auntie Gillian & Uncle Billy. We all stood with mummy & daddy at the front. I slept for the first half of the service. I was woken up by mummy for the minister to wash my hair with special water. I was very brave and didn't cry.

Afterwards everyone sang toe while the minister walked me round the Kirk. I was quite happy to go for a walk with the minister and had a good look round at everyone.

After we went to Al Borgo for a nice meal. I had a great time. We had w special cake. I got lots of presents. Mum said she will open them tonight after dinner. I got lovely flowers & bible from the Kirk.
