Hover Fly on Flower

A quietish day.  KG did some more hedge trimming at the back today I helped clear up the leaves and then went in to do my roast dinner.
A quiet afternoon wandered around the garden for a blip found several but liked this one best.  These flowers are outside my back door - I don't know what they are but they come up every year about this time and flower for quite a while.  It was a bonus having the hover fly taking the pollen.  A rather dull overcast day and really feels like autumn is not too far away
