Happiness personified!

Another trip to the hospital first thing, to have my thumb redressed and assessed.  The swelling is going down and no sign of infection, so we're all set for heading off on the overnight ferry this evening.

Plants all in the lean to, tomatoes watered and fed, procedure with the hens explained to one neighbour, plant watering explained to another.  After a good long walk and a bit of a swim Ollie went off on his holidays, to stay with his little friend, Scratch!   We don't like leaving him behind, but a hot car won't be much fun for him . . . and he will have a fun time with her and J's grandchildren will spoil him too.

Now, time to pack the back of the car and away we go!
