Fiesa

Advertised prominently all along the Algarve, the Fiesa sand sculptures are not, as we hoped, something created on a sandy beach, but are in a compound a couple of kilometres from the nearest beach. A new theme is selected each year; this year's was music (including music for cartoons, etc).

We'd spent the morning and lunchtime at Silves, exploring the hilltop castle, and finished day with dinner at Luz.
