Raindrops and sunshine

Unfortunately the promise of a lovely, sunny morning did nt happen and we woke to very heavy rain which continued for most of the morning. Mike and myself met Apothecary7 and Beachcomber149 at the beach café and managed to sit outside under the shelter as it was nt cold just abit damp. We had a great natter over hot drinks and although Maeve the deerhound stayed in the car I gave her a stroke on the way home. Lovely to see them all again.
In the afternoon we went to see Oliver at Eden Court which was very good and a very entertaining little boy of about 5 who kept everyone amused. Bullseye the dog was also funny not really wanting to make an appearance ! Some brilliant singing of all the familiar songs.
The horses have made their way down the hill and, at the moment, have left my roses alone. The sun came out lighting up their mane and tails and we were treated to a colourful sunset.
