Wye Valley

The weather wasn't too good today - a bit of a drizzle morning so we went to the Wye Valley Butterfly Zoo - overstated as a zoo but a lovely large greenhouse with loads of butterfly's and beautiful tropical plants. I have always loved Passion flowers and this one was beautiful.
The weather cheered up a bit after lunch so we went into Monmouth - another place none of us had been and it was great for a little wander and then tea in a really cute courtyard cafe.
This evening, back at the cottage in our games room (in the adjoining old chapel) we completed our Olympic Games - great fun playing table tennis and darts after several glasses of wine! Ryan was our champion this year - and a very worthy winner if the 'gold' cup!
