Oh I do like to be beside the seaside

A surprise trip to the Whitby for the children, stopping off on route at Hutton-le-hole for a lovely walk on the moors, a place I last visited on a school trip many years ago.

Thankfully we just got back to the car as the weather turned, and it was a wet and stormy drive over the North York Moors to the coast. The sun reappeared as we arrived thought and after tea at The Magpie, we had a very pleasant stroll along the pier.
