Life through the lens...

By ValC

Not Anna's, mine!

A pile of pavlovas for tomorrow's wine club garden party. ( named after the Russian ballerina Anna Pavlova, and created in New Zealand when she visited the Antipodes in the 1920s, although some say it was an Australian creation!)
Will be filled with strawberries and cream tomorrow.
MrC and I had to have a couple to try. Yummy!
( just had to make sure that they tasted OK!)
I prefer them to meringues , as they are soft in the middle.

Also taking the cheese. I hope they like my choice of two French and three English;

A soft French cheese, Le Pie d' Angeloys.
Wookey Hole cave aged farmhouse cheddar .
Yorkshire Blue.
Oak smoked Yorkshire Wensleydale.
Boursin garlic and herbs.

The weather forecast is for a fine day, but hope it is a bit warmer than today, as although sunny it has been quite cool.
