HMS Tyne

It's back again! Spotted a few weeks back, HMS Tyne has been moored off the Tendring coast for the last day or so.

I suspect we'll see quite a bit more of her as we approach the Olympic Games, as sensitive installations, like power stations and turbine arrays are shown to be protected. I hear that there are various other guard ships patrolling at other places just up the coast from here. But we're pleased that the Tyne has adopted us:)

We also see the occasional Typhoon aircraft scorching it's way down the coast, presumably to intercept either an 'imaginary' or real threat to London.
