Jurassic coast

Today eldest daughter and I took a walk down to the shore at a place called Rigg, which is more or less half way between Portree and Staffin. As a child we used stay on holiday in a cottage at Rigg and the coast and surrounding croft land were our playground.

The rocks down there are full of fossils and it is great fun hunting for them, its a bit of walk down, and even more of a walk back up again, but well worth it!
