Thailand this time. The Girl Racer, seen here crouching down alongside her slightly shorter travelling companion, will be away for seven weeks before meeting us in New York for ten days. We were up at 5.15 and did breakfast in Cafe Rouge at Heathrow (tomorrow I'll do the same with my boys locally - has a nice ring to it - but at the more civilsed time of 10.30).

Now feeling a bit flat ... you miss 'em when they go no matter how old they get ... plus have not had much sleep and have spent most of the afternoon working and pondering my future ... Enough to make anyone thoughtful ...
