Beach

After the torrential rain of yesterday, we woke to a drier day. Cloudy with the odd splashes of sun and quite breezy.

We are heading home this evening so Mr C wanted to visit the local brewery, Skinners, and pick up his usual purchase of Betty Stoggs and Porthleven beer. We then went onto Portreath to have a last look at the sea and a deep intake of fresh air. Had a wonderful walk over the rocks to look at all the rock pools, brings back memories;-). They were so clear and felt quite warm to the touch. Then a walk along to the other side of the beach to look at little caves and arches in the rocks. We stopped off at Cornwall Gold on the way home. All the rings I liked were in the thousands....will keep looking ;-))

Homemade fish pie before heading home and arriving just after midnight. A lovely few days and we have both been very spoilt!
