Tagged in brass, what some humans would prize as bling, I have a feeling this tree only feels is an invasion.  I'm not sure what these brass tags mean, but I see them nailed to public trees all over.  Most of them have been there for quite some time, as evidenced by their envelopment by the tree's trunk.
