Docking time
There has been a flurry of lambs over the past week while we have been away, so today I joined Ian and Chris as we mustered them in and docked 15. The small block of land that overlooks the lake is owned by an overseas family and Chris and Ian run a number of ewes on it...and somehow the numbers seem to be increasing...Ian is still a sheep farmer at heart!
It was so sunny and mild and it didn't take long for the lambs to get over the indignity of having rings put on their tails and "other bits", so much easier doing this when they are small.
The extra shot is a group of lambs wondering who is going to be next.
Thanks so much for all the comments yesterday about Adobe Slate and the picture story. Just preparing some images to make another one, let me know if you have a go.
....AND YEAH! Just watched the New Zealand Silver Ferns beat England in the semi final of the World Cup Netball...roll on the final tomorrow.
