Another day, another castle!

Today started early when the fire alarm in the hotel we were staying at in Berwick upon Tweed went off at 5.15am. By the time I'd woken up enough to work out that it wasn't the tv making a funny noise or a car alarm outside and finally decided that I'd probably better get up in case it was a fire, the alarm stopped. Reminded me of my 1st year at university when the fire alarm in my halls of residence frequently went off at 4am.

It was pouring rain when we left Berwick and the drive north was pretty horrible. But it stopped raining before we got to Stirling. Spent the afternoon at Stirling castle.
