Coast Path Upgrade. Yay!!! (Possibly not yay???)

A few weeks ago we had a bit of a RANT because our favourite section of the coast path had been closed.

Well do you know what?......................  Today we discovered it had been re-opened; so off we went, for a little stroll along it.

Even though, originally Ann was really angry that it had been closed at the busiest time of year; she was well impressed with the upgrading.............................

.....................She said, ‘Molly, this path is fabulous.  It’s very wheel chair & buggy friendly.  Isn’t it great that people on their hols in St Ives are going to be able have a little stroll out to ‘Clodgy Point’ & back.

.................Mmmmmm........................  I was little bit more concerned about my ‘wallowing stream’.  The ‘upgrading’ people have built a wall around it which made it a lot harder for me to just jump in and have a wallow???  Do they not realise I’m 11 years old now???

Anyway, I still managed to jump in, have a wallow and then jump out.

And then I met people sitting on a bench having a picnic so I tried giving them my ‘appealing look’ ‘cos I was a bit hungry and I thought they might give me some little titbits.  But Ann yanked me away by my collar and told them I was the naughtiest little collie in the whole wide world.  I’m sure that’s a bit of an exaggeration???

.................And then the lovely new tarmac-ed path just abruptly came to an end??????

So actually; wheel chair users & buggies can’t go all the way out to Clodgy Point.................

.............So now we’re left wondering?????????????  .......................Just what has been the point of closing the coast path for the last few weeks??????????????????????
