Well. I finally got away from work and only about 40 minutes late. Result!

It was stressful but I have managed to hand over matters to colleagues and while I've given them permission to contact me while I am away I sure as hell hope they don't! I can be almost certain that they won't, though there is one I'm not sure about.

Because I did all of the work with packing last night I only need to do a bit of final packing in the morning and have the luxury of changing my bed tonight and coming home to a clean house.

Finally, it's a year ago today that my dearly missed and beloved stepmum was found dead. That year has gone by like a flash. It's largely down to her passing that I am able to take this amazing holiday I'm going on. I am so grateful for that opportunity but would much rather have her still with us. I do miss her terribly. Her sense of fun, her sense of humour, her love for us all. I want to make the most of my trip to honour her memory. I miss you Bangs xxxxx
