Environmental Effects "6"

As mentioned on day one of this personal challenge, it is about the affect that we as humans have on the planet. I have thrown affect and effect all about and just decided to not get to technical about the definition. The effects affect us. How's that.
One of the ABC's of the environment being affected is all about the B's.
Instead of turning this into a soapbox, which I did in a previous challenge, here is a link to about three dozen bee related articles.
Suffice to say here, they sure do control a good deal of the food supply, and they have been dying off in great numbers. At the same time bee keepers keep increasing bee production to keep up. It is a bit hazy.
This is one of the best years for bees in our yard. Probably in part due to it being a low maintenance year where everything has been left to flower. Here is a fine fellow in the peppermint patch.
I have not noticed any wasps in years though. Their purpose mainly being to provide venom if you are stung by one. Anomaly. This blip was done on the iPhone with Olloclip.

Abstract Thursday participants totaled 33! Yea! That's if Greg adds the tag :) As always, there were outstanding entries and it was nice to check in and say hi. Don't forget to see your abstractor comrades. Next week Aug. 20 is AT8
