Black skimmer chick

I had the day off today and it was a beautiful day to be at the beach, for birds and people.  This is a black skimmer - a very cool looking bird as it matures.

I am seriously thinking of trying to do a house swap with somebody from another country.  Our house is 5 blocks from the ocean and I tend to take our proximity to the beach for granted.  It would be so cool to experience life somewhere else for a change.

What do I do with the dogs?
