Dave has been very helpful today when I moved the dog crate. Clear space, tell Dave to vacate said space, attempt to put crate in space, lift crate up, push Dave out of space with foot, put crate down in space vacated by Dave. Dave inspects crate to make sure nothing has changed. Dave inspects new space where crate was originally. Dave lays in evicted basket from space where crate is now. Looks sad as all dog bedding is in the wash. Looks happy as spare blanket is put in crate. Lays down on clean blanket in crate. Goes to find more mischief elsewhere...

Storm and Emily watched from safe distance tutting under their breath.
