Eus

After working in the garden, I decided a coffee up in Eus was a suitable reward.  Eus is listed as one of the prettiest villages in France and also has claimed, probably correctly, that it is the sunniest village in France with 360 days of sunshine per year.  However, the official statistics of Meteo France for 2014 place it only in 1,865th position.  The department of the Var was the sunniest part of France in that year.  The village mayor is unperturbed and believes that the statistics, that say the village had only 81 sunny days, are wrong and that the village will once again top the rankings.  81 does seem a ridiculously low figure for this area of France.
