Up the Creek . . . . .

. . . . . on a track up Bush Creek, behind Arrowtown. I'd walked up there with a friend, who has a native plant nursery in Queenstown, and who planted 100 native plants up Bush Creek last year and 200 this year. She was very pleased to see that the broad leaf plants survived the heavy snow last weekend well. It was icy underfoot; we had to watch our footing carefully. It was lovely spending time with B; she's been a special friend for a long time.
