Whilst away in N. America missed the jubilee and my mum being admitted to hospital with pneumonia.
my family's special relationship with modern technology meant I picked up a truncated text on my return and one coherent message from my mum, the ill one, to say not to worry.
Needless to say it was straight down the M6.
This was out for a 'run' in the car and a pub lunch.
Union jack bunting not big in Scotland or the States so was quite struck by the change.
