Throwback Thursday.

I don't normally do challenges on here, but I thought I'd have a go at this one this week.

This is a close-up of a little musical box my dad bought me for my 11th birthday.

I've always loved musical boxes.  He took me along to a jeweller's shop in the Edgware Road in London, and allowed me to choose what I wanted.

I chose this little Swiss chalet that played Tea For Two.

It worked until Christian (who was only a toddler at the time), poked something into the mechanism and it stopped working. 

I've kept it though, for the memories.
