The last bit of training I've organised at work was run today by the Red Cross: Everyday First Aid. As a special treat I enrolled myself. What a fantastic course. In two hours it taught us to use simple, memorable, life-saving techniques. Everyone's willingness to intervene in an emergency improved and everyone's confidence to act increased dramatically. We had two people on the course with special needs and minimal literacy skills and I was concerned that they might struggle. But no, they got it completely and had a good time. Highly recommended.
