Flower Class Corvette

Our last day in Nova Scotia today before flying home.We have spent the day in Halifax along with the Queen Mary 2.A beautiful but very hot day.After visiting Pier 21 we had a walk along the waterfront which is beautiful.Fantastic lunch in an Irish Bar.
In the picture is a Corvette of 'The Cruel Sea' fame.A fantastic book and film.It was wonderful to stand on the deck of such a historic ship and I enjoyed looking around it immensely.
We visited the Citadel and watched the Queen Marry 2 leave port before returning to our hotel to pick up the car and head for the airport.
