A Weight off my Mind

I'm happy to be corrected, but a little bird told me this might be a Tawny Owl feather. I looked it up and I think the little bird was right. It's been an odd sort of day which started quite reasonably - I did some washing and gardening, but then events sort of overtook me and I found myself well into the evening without a blip, then I remember this feather which I'd tucked into my bag at the weekend (as you do;-) )
No visible meteors tonight, I think.
