Stars and a secret

If I was on a desert island my luxury would be analogue tv with buttons and a dvd player rather than any kind of streaming. Never again would I have to wait for my tv to update itself, or to figure out how to fix things when it decided that I wasn't old enough to watch my selected programme. Right now this moment, I have the option of removing the power lead from the BTvision box, as even the on/off button is hung, or giving up and taking a book to bed. Raarrr.

In other news, the girl, inspired by watching K join her teeny-weeny polka dot patchwork pieces, asked if I would find her something to sew. I remembered the "sew your own Christmas decorations" kit she received last year, and off we went. Apparently I still can't sew a French knot, but the girl's running stitch looks very promising.
