Growing old disgracefully

By GOD

CULLEN SKINK

We hit the town, gladdened the hearts of the street performers, stroked every dog we met, almost emptied the arts and crafts store, stocked up on hair decorations and were thoughtful in the Oxfam book shop.  I am so glad that they provide chairs in there for old grannies.

I was challenged by the request to eat in a 'Scottish restaurant', until I remembered Cranachan in Princes Square.  We rode the glass elevator and ate Cullen Skink - which she liked, although she wished it had a pettier name.
