End of year party

This has been such a busy week with so many activities and parties. Olivia has now completed her final year in the ECC (Early Childhood Centre) and starts in the ES (Elementary School) next year which is scary (for me) and exciting (for her). I managed to make it to the last 20 minutes of her class party today. The class Mum had made these amazing cakes (there are a number of summer birthdays and students leaving) for everyone to share as well as gifts for the students and the teachers. Olivia has really shone this year and has developed on so many levels. She has loved being in this class and has made so many good friends and had a really inspirational teacher, of which we are very thankful, as she has been supportive of Olivia all year. 
Sadly there are a number of children leaving Belgium this year including two of Olivia's good friends. We still have some playdates lined up before they leave for good but I think it's going to be hard for her to say goodbye.
