The Rules
My rules to people visiting the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh:
- Come prepared for the changing weather
- Do not think you are the only visitor to Edinburgh, please respect other people's space. If you're visiting in groups, please do not make a wall with your group preventing acces to the street to other pedestrians.
- It is difficult, I know, but please try not not walk in front of someone who's clearly trying to focus properly to take a photo. Whenever possible, walk around them.
- I know Edinburgh is an amazing city and you'll probably get distracted by the wonderful views, but try to look in front of you and see where you're going.
- Do not asume that everybody is on holiday. Have respect for people who have to work during this busy period.
- Before you take a photo of a human statue, leave some money in the pot.
- Have respect for all artists and performers in the street.
- Do not leave your rubbish scattered around.
Let's hope everybody respects my rules! :)
